Terms of Service

// Last Updated: June 28, 2026

1. Platform Services

Shelvdon provides a digital operational tracker for merchants (retail locations) and transactional text messaging services for consumers. By submitting your number to our waitlist or through a participating merchant, you agree to these Terms.

2. SMS Notification Program & Consent

By providing a mobile phone number and expressly consenting at a participating merchant location, you agree to receive transactional SMS notifications related to your service order, including intake confirmations, status updates, pickup reminders, and secure pickup verification messages.

Consent to receive SMS notifications is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Message frequency varies depending on the status of your service order.

  • Alert Frequency: Message frequency depends on the activity of your service orders with the merchant. Typically, you will receive two messages per ticket: one at intake (confirmation) and one when the items are ready for pickup.
  • Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile carrier's plan details.
  • Supported Carriers: SMS services are available on major Canadian and US mobile carriers. Deliveries are subject to carrier network transmission.

3. Opt-Out (STOP) and Support (HELP)

You have full control over your notifications:

  • Opt-Out: Customers may text STOP at any time to unsubscribe from future messages. After sending STOP, a final confirmation message will be sent and no further SMS messages will be delivered unless the customer opts in again.
  • Support: Customers may text HELP to the sending number to receive assistance. For additional support, contact us directly at support@shelvdon.com.

4. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Shelvdon is provided "as is" and "as available". We are not liable for delayed, filtered, or undelivered SMS alerts caused by third-party mobile carriers, network outages, or incorrect telephone numbers entered by store staff.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shelvdon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform or SMS notification services.

In no event shall Shelvdon's aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by the merchant for the service during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.

6. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted on this website.
